A few week ago after seeing several cute terrariums, I thought it'd be fun to be able to wear cute little ones too.My first attempts were not so succesful...as I tried to use real moss from the garden. The design looked great, but the smell...OUCH, the smell... Moss by itself has a nice earthy smell...but combined with my glue, the stench was a bit overpowering...so much so infact, that I couldn't stay in the same room LOL. Those were quickly discarded and I found lovely odorless synthetic moss, chih will also last a lot longer and don't need watering ;)
Here are a few of my brand new "moss line" pieces.

Do I really need to comment these photos... ;) ?Here are most of the Crocs I won in the Crocs contest. I say most because I already gave some away to friends and family, so, no I didn't get several of the same for myself...if you see some duplicates, it's for someone else ;)
Some may look very used already, but it's because they are my "old ones" that I put here to fill the gaps and try to make it 52 pairs again...

Well, finally my Crocs have arrived...some of them anyway. Yeah, the Crocs adventures are not over. Because after being sent to France instead of Belgium, it seems one of the packages went completely AWOL
Oops sorry about scary face (complete lack of make up here)...and I was in my cleaning outfit too by the way...
Some of the Crocs (I'll take better and more organized photos later)... 11 pairs are missing :( not a big deal but that include those of my godson Hugo... It was still a very fun unpacking experience though.

My little bat has died :( I was so sad, she seemed to be doing so well. When I found her dead, she still had a little bit of apple near her mouth. RIP Cracra (that's how I named her)21 August 2009 @ 02:07 pm
Of all the funny things and creatures the cats brought me home, this bat has got to win first prize. It is so cute and tiny. The blue thing next to her is a regular plastic bottle cap filled with water.
I gave it some catfood, wanted to find some bugs but only found a gigantic fly. So catfood will have to do until tonight. It doesn't look hurt, but I am no bat expert...The pictures appear very bright, but I put my little bat in a shadowy corner to keep it away from sunlight and cats 'arm.
I'll try to release it tonight when it's dark.
